The time it takes until an Ad can be online varies from account to account, but here are the general steps and approximate timing you have to accomplish before an Ad can be live.

1. Joining Slixa, creating an ad for your chosen city, and a profile with your photos, text and contact info can happen in less than an hour if you have your photos and text ready.
2. Your new profile goes into a queue for initial review. Your profile is typically reviewed within a couple hours of joining during standard business hours. If you create your profile late in the evening or on weekends, the review process may take up to  24 hours depending on the volume of requests, and longer if we have to ask you to edit your profile. To avoid this, make sure you read our Publishing Standards well and adhere to them when filling out your profile.
3. If you are asked to age verify, this step can also add a couple  hours  to the time it takes for your ad to go live. Due to our rigorous security measures, only a small team is authorized to review sensitive documents related to Age Verification.
4. Once your profile is approved and your account is enabled, your ad will go live provided you've made a purchase. If you haven't yet purchased, you can do so at any time to activate your ad immediately.
